23 Dec 2003, London, England, UK --- An image showing a union flag and falling snow flakes is projected onto Buckingham Palace in London as part of the "Brightening up London" campaign on December 23, 2003. The palace is officially due to be lit up from 1700 GMT on Christmas Eve. Queen Elizabeth II gave her permission to include the palace, after being impressed by Bob Geldof's "Peace and Hope" message projected onto Wellington Arch in London at the beginning of December. Geldof, in partnership with the mobile phone company Orange, projected images onto nine London landmarks one by one leading up to Christmas. The projected images all changed on Christmas Eve to make the landmarks look like wrapped Christmas presents. --- Image by © Toby Melville/Reuters/Corbis
