Underworld: Blood Wars is a 2017 American action horror film directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. It is the fifth installment in the Underworld film series and the sequel to 2012 film Underworld: Awakening, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene. The other main cast included Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Trent Garrett, Lara Pulver, Clementine Nicholson, Bradley James, and Charles Dance. Principal photography began on October 19, 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic.



The film is scheduled to be released on January 6, 2017 by Screen Gems. The film is the directing debut by Foerster.
