Bumblebee_01

Bumblebee is a 2018 American science fiction film directed by Travis Knight and written by Christina Hodson. It is centered around the titular character and a prequel to the events of the Transformers film series. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Gracie Dzienny, Rachel Crow, and Pamela Adlon. Principal photography on the film began on July 31, 2017, in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.



More light-hearted in tone than previous entries, this is the first film in the live-action Transformers series not to be directed by Michael Bay, although he will act as producer. Bumblebee is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018.
