Amazing Aerial View of the Victoria Falls, Zambia and Zimbabwe

One of the world's most majestic water spectacles, Victoria Falls (also called Mosi-oa-Tunya, or "The Cloud That Thunders) -- were reportedly first seen by a European when Scotsman David Livingstone journeyed here in 1855.

Since then thousands have enjoyed the spray from the 108-meter high cascade, which was once recorded flowing at 12,800 cubic meters per second -- double that of Niagara's highest flow.

Prepare to be amazed by the grandeur of Victoria Falls, located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Known as “The Smoke That Thunders,” this waterfall spans an impressive 1.7 kilometers (1 mile) in width, making it one of the widest in the world. The sheer force of the Zambezi River as it cascades over the basalt cliffs creates an astonishing display of power and beauty. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular destination for adrenaline seekers who dare to take on thrilling activities such as bungee jumping and white-water rafting.
